Easter
Sixth Sunday of Easter
Brothers and sisters,
Human beings are religious by nature; something within us desires to seek out our Creator. For example, it is this very instinct that causes us to delight in the beauty of a sunset.
The men and women of ancient Athens were no different. Indeed, when Saint Paul visited that city he found them to be very religious; the city was filled with altars to gods and cults of all sorts, and even an altar with the inscription, “To an unknown god.”
Brothers and sisters, we know the God whom the human heart desires. Let us proclaim him to all.
Every blessing,
Fr Myles
Rector
