Theology Club

Theology Club meets at St Clement's on the last Wednesday of every month, from 8:00 PM until 9:30 PM. It is a space for honest, unhurried conversation about the Christian faith, where we take theological questions seriously and turn to the Bible together to explore them. Nothing is off limits. We dig into the difficult passages, the doctrines that still divide opinion within the Church, and the questions that thoughtful believers have wrestled with for centuries. Doubt, challenge, and hard questioning are not only permitted but warmly encouraged, because we believe a faith worth holding is a faith worth examining honestly.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your background or wherever you find yourself on the journey. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly: bring a bottle of wine or a beer if you fancy one, or the kettle will be on if that's your cup of tea (or coffee!). Mostly we just have a jolly good chat about Christianity, what it really means, and the implications of taking it seriously. If you would like a thoughtful evening of proper conversation about the things that matter most, do come along.
